To Whom It May Concern,

After more than a decade of purchasing our specialty gases from one particular vendor, we began to have concerns about the service we were receiving as a loyal customer and felt that we needed to begin looking for a new vendor. Our manufacturing capabilities and production schedule can be severely affected by any disruption in the supply of the gasses necessary to run our laser cutting machines, and therefore, service is at least as important to us as the cost.

Just over a year ago, we made the transition to Maine Oxy as our vendor for gases, and I would certainly recommend this move to any company that requires responsive service, reliability and competitive pricing. John Conrad has been very attentive from the first quote, visit and then first delivery to ensure that we were receiving the service that we expected and were promised. I have found both the inside sales representatives and the delivery drivers all very courteous and pleasant to interact with, and have had no problems when I needed an additional delivery or had issues that needed to be resolved.

Ultimately, while the gases to run our machines are inherently important for our daily production, I have many other responsibilities that demand my time and attention and I would prefer not to have to worry about our gas supply. Over the last year, Maine Oxy has helped alleviate this worry by not letting us down on delivery or letting me miss my weekly order. Once again, I will highly recommend Maine Oxy as a supplier of specialty gasses due to their superior customer service and reliability.

If anyone talks to Jon Gradie give him a great big GOOD JOB for helping out. Jon came into the SP store on Saturday to fill his propane for a BBQ that his family was waiting for him at home but when he got here there were several customers at the counter waiting to be helped so much to the surprise of the customers that were waiting that thought he was just another customer coming in the store when he jumped behind the counter and helped out until all the customers were gone.

Jon it didn't get unnoticed, Mr Schoch was very happy that you did that and so am I. Thank you very much for taking time away from your family at home to help him getting the customers out of here in a timely manner.

Dear Sir/Madam:

Air Pollution Characterization and Control, Ltd. (APCC) is an air quality measurement and engineering firm specializing in emission measurements throughout the Unites States, as well as selected foreign countries. As such, APCC utilizes a wide variety of specialty and support gases for calibration and operation of instrumentation. Although we currently have only about 100 different calibration gases in-house, the number of different (sometimes somewhat exotic) gases and/or concentrations is sometimes in the hundreds.

Since consolidating our three offices to Maine about 10 years ago, APCC has dealt almost exclusively with Bill Parker and Maine Oxy for specialty and other support gases.  While there are now many specialty gas manufacturers, where there used to be only one, Maine Oxy and Bill get almost all of our business because of the personalized service provided.  Bill always goes the extra mile to ensure we get the gases we need when and where we need them.  In the rare instances where the product is not exactly right, he corrects the issue in a timely fashion without controversy.
